What Data We Collect

None. Meeting Tax does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All calculations happen entirely on your device.

How It Works

Meeting Tax reads calendar event information from Google Calendar's web interface to estimate meeting costs. This analysis happens entirely in your browser. No calendar data, attendee information, or meeting details are ever sent anywhere.

Data Storage

Your settings (hourly rates, custom per-person rates, thresholds) and meeting cost history are stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device.

Permissions

• Host permissions (calendar.google.com): Required to read calendar events and inject cost badges.
• Storage: To save your rate settings and meeting history locally.

Third-Party Services

Meeting Tax uses no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
